Our Certifications

Over the years, the company has pursued continuous improvement with particular attention to the protection of the environment, as is clear from its decision to apply five standards for environmental protection within its organisation.
In 2005 Paper Divipac, certified company ISO 9001 since 1999, implemented an environmental management system in compliance with rule ISO 14001. In the immediately subsequent years, the company decided to create an integrated quality and environment management system in compliance with the above-mentioned rules, completing it with the EMAS scheme for which they obtained certification in 2008.
Continuing its development, to the certifications mentioned above, in 2011 the company added certifications for the protection of sustainably managed forests according to FSC® and PEFCTM standards.
During the last year, the company obtained OHSAS certification, attesting the adequacy of the company procedures regarding the health and safety of workers, in addition to compliance with mandatory standards. Also in the last year, Paper Divipac obtained Ecolabel certification for many of its products, pursuing its path of protection of the environment and eco-sustainability.



EMAS certification represents the official acknowledgement in achieving excellent performances. It is an instrument of environmental policy managed by the European Union and is designed to encourage all types of Organization in the development of better environmental conditions. The EMAS objective is to continuously improve the environmental performances carried out in a voluntary manner and independently of legal limitations, which are adopted in any case as minimum reference parameters. It is oriented to the dissemination of environmental performances with an annual environmental report.



The FSC® trademark identifies products containing wood from responsibly managed forests, according to strict environmental, social and economic standards.
The FSC® certificate guarantees that the forest of origin has been independently inspected and evaluated according to these standards (principles and criteria of good forest management), established and approved by the Forest Stewardship Council® a.c. through involvement and approval of stakeholders.
The FSC® is a global, not-for-profit organization dedicated to the promotion of responsible forest management worldwide.

PEFCTM certification (Programme for Endorsement of Forest Certification schemes) is a certification system which aims at attesting that the management of the forests from which the raw materials used to make the finished products are derived, meets the specific requirements in terms of environmental, economic and social sustainability.
“Forest management certification” means a recognised and qualified verification procedure that leads to the issue of a certificate by an independent body. The certificate states:
“the stewardship and use of forests and forest lands in a way, and at a rate, that maintains their biodiversity, productivity, regeneration capacity, vitality and their potential to fulfill, now and in the future, relevant ecological, economic and social functions, at local, national, and global levels, and that does not cause damage to other ecosystems”.


BS OHSAS 18001:2007 – 9001 – 1401

Compliance with the international standard OHSAS 18001 (Occupational Health and Safety Assessment Specification) ensures compliance with requirements envisaged for management systems for health and safety in the workplace and allows Paper Divipac to better assess risks and improve its performances. The OHSAS 18001 standard aims at making systematic for a company, control, knowledge and awareness of all possible risks in normal and extraordinary working conditions. It focuses on health and safety at the workplace and requires continuous improvement by the Organisations, providing all related organizations with a guarantee of compliance with the specified safety policy.

ISO 9001 is a voluntary international REGULATION that defines requirements for a Quality Management System  WITH THE AIM OF CONDUCTING  THE business processes by following codified work procedures to ensure the consistency of the production and management processes  and to contribute to their CONTINOUS  improvement.  EVERYTHING IS  geared to ensure customer satisfaction.

ISO 14001 is a voluntary international REGULATION designed to certify the Environmental Management System of THE organizations, that are committed to evaluate and improve their environmental EFFICIENCY  in terms of continuous improvement of PERFORMANCES  in a COHERENT, effective and sustainable WAY,   to MAKE  A careful monitoring of the environmental impacts of its activities, to INVOLVE their employees and monitor their performanceS while ensuring THE compliance of THESE PERFORMANCES  with THE environmental policy.



The Ecolabel is the European trademark for ecological quality which certifies that a product or a service meets specific and rigorous environmental requirements called Criteria. These Criteria are formulated on the basis of the analysis of the entire life cycle of the product, which allows identification of all environmental impacts, from the raw materials, to the manufacturing process and up to the end of the product life cycle.
The Ecolabel System is one of the European Union’s instruments of environmental and industrial policy aimed at encouraging the presence of products with the minimum environmental impact on the market.
